Org signup and data capture

Organizations sign up using the online form. That populates a spreadsheet owned by volunteerbigcanoe@gmail.com. When creating new spreadsheets, be sure it’s under this account so it is persisted after individuals leave the organization.

The information on the spreadsheet is filled in by the form from columns A to N. It is important to not touch the headers of these columns or it can break the process of data capture. Columns O and above are fine to use as you wish.

Orgs must then either send you their logo or you can pull it from their website.

Org page

Create the page for the org under help and select Blog Content. Technically these pages are using the blog format in order to have access to the Tags and Categories features for search.

Add the info of the org, and in Settings > Options > Tags and add all the tags. Start typing to search until you find the right ones. Same thing for Categories.

When ready be sure to publish your org post.
