Habitat For Humanity Pickens County

Our mission is to mobilize volunteers from churches, businesses, organizations, and households from our community to form a cohesive coalition to fund and build simple, decent affordable housing in partnership with God and God's people in need. We do this in support of covenants and values of Habitat for Humanity International with the ultimate goal of eliminating poverty housing in Pickens County, Georgia.

Volunteer Activities

Various build site construction opportunities. Painting, construction, cleaning, etc.
Office volunteers for processing newsletter, mass mail outs, and various duties
Fundraising assistance with events and fund drives.
Home Repair Ministry volunteers to assist with minor construction and needed repairs in homes of the needy.

Level of face to face interaction: Minimal face-to-face interaction (easy to social distance, masks required, few people in workspace)
